Nose Tip Re-structuring

Doctor, I want a more prominent and pointing nose tip!

For the nose tip structuring surgeries, to avoid the, in order to avoid protruding prostheses, surgeons mostly use the autologous auricular cartilages to re-structure the nose tip. However, the autologous aural cartilage transplant has the issue of 5-10% of absorption, so the surgeons often cannot achieve the most prominent and pointing nose tip shape in one operation. Dr. Yi-Sheng Kao of Charm Aesthetic Surgery Center has extensive experiences in nose-sculpturing surgeries and keeps obtaining better surgical skills therein. By using the shredded autologous cartilage and autologous fascia transplants, Dr. Kao successfully "re-increases" the height and pointedness of the nose tip.

There are two reasons for this: 1) After the first rhinoplasty, the skin of the nose is like the belly of a woman who just gave birth, which is already expanded once and will have room for further extension. 2) The transplanted cartilage on the nose tip from the first surgery will be absorbed by 5-10% in about 3 months; so using the autologous shredded cartilage and autologous fascia transplant can further increase the height of nose tip.

As we mentioned previously, with regards to the nose-sculpturing surgery for oriental people, since the main issues of oriental noses are lack of length, or sagging/insufficient nose tips, the restructuring of nose-tip is often relatively difficult and the most time-consuming part of the whole operation.
