五爪固定器(endotine)是內視鏡抬眉手術中，固定眉毛位置的器材。因此，所謂五爪拉皮，就是使用”五爪”固定器(endotine)固定的內視鏡拉皮方式。Endotine是美國Coapt公司生產之軟組織固定器，它的材質是一種叫Polylactide的聚合物，可將前額皮瓣固定於頭骨上，固定眉毛的位置，約一年左右可被人體自然分解吸收。以往內視鏡抬眉手術固定眉毛的材質，從最早的各種縫線，鈦螺絲釘，生物螺絲釘(Biograded material)，到最近盛行的五爪固定器(endotine)。五爪固定器與眾不同的地方是它的固定點不是一個點，而是一個面，一個由五個固定點所形成的一個固定面來固定整個前額皮瓣。

 

它的優點有

2. 可調整：與其他不同的固定器、手術後是可以調整高度的
3. 安全性：由於同時有五個點同時固定，不易脫落，不會有手術後因固定不牢而失敗的可能性。缺點是費用較高
